Description

Solanum lycopersicum

Our Golden Roma tomato seeds introduce gardeners to a vibrant twist on a classic variety, celebrated for its golden-yellow appearance and flavourful depth.

These seeds produce medium-sized tomatoes that bear the signature elongated shape of traditional Romas but stand out with their striking golden colour. The taste is a delightful mix of sweetness with just a hint of tanginess, making them a delightful culinary choice.

In Australia, Golden Roma tomatoes have shown great adaptability. While they thrive best in sun-rich areas with consistent warmth, they can be grown effectively in cooler regions as well. Additionally, these tomatoes exhibit a good resistance to several tomato pests and diseases, ensuring a reliable yield.

On the culinary front, Golden Roma tomatoes bring both colour and flavour to the table. Their vibrant colour and distinct taste make them a favourite for salads, salsas, and even homemade tomato-based sauces. Moreover, they're a nutritional powerhouse, offering good amounts of vitamins A and C, along with essential minerals.

For the best growing results, plant these seeds in nutrient-rich, well-draining soil. They should be positioned in an area receiving 6-8 hours of sunlight daily. As the plants develop and fruit sets in, some form of support like staking may be required. Consistent watering, ensuring the soil remains moist but not soggy, will promote healthy growth.
